Healthcare Mentor Qualification

Course satisfaction rate: 100%

A course for those mentoring in healthcare settings, leading to a Level 3 Workplace Mentoring Qualification.

Mentoring in healthcare settings, brings its own unique problems. Whilst medical staff may have some mentoring training, they have limited time for supporting or developing others. This often means that the development of newer staff falls to others. Having a Certified and Qualified Mentor in the team gives your team the tools to grow, utilising the skills and knowledge the team already has, whilst also rewarding those individuals who take the initiative with a certified level 3 qualification.

The Practitioner Mentor in Healthcare programme will not only help you harness the experience and skills of your staff team but it will also give your team a focus point to communicate with the senior staff team. Staff who have access to a certified mentor are more likely to express concerns about conflicts or workplace issues. Part of the mentors mantra is to understand the mentee and understand their mindset. Most importantly a mentor builds a trusted relationship with their mentees. Giving your team someone they trust to discuss issues with will help a mentee communicate those issues more truthfully and constructively.

An investment in a work place mentor with training from the Practitioner Mentor in Healthcare programme, will bring your team together, improve motivation and productivity whilst also allowing you to develop those staff who want to take on the qualification, giving you an asset that will benefit your workplace for years to come.
