Course overview
Health and social care is a vital part of people’s lives, with the support that you provide making a genuine, positive, difference. Healthcare mentors can be a vital part of this- supporting staff mental health, improving responses to challenges, and developing teams that thrive together.
Our Level 3 accredited qualification equips team leaders to become mentors with the essential tools to support and lead staff effectively. Healthcare mentors recognise the skills, knowledge, and experience of their teams, and encourage them to flourish in health and social care as a career. Our learners develop their expertise to improve engagement, satisfaction and ultimately retention of care teams. Operating within a mental health led framework, the specialist course covers up to date good practice skills, with modules on overcoming barriers, adapting learning approaches, and enabling mentees to plan for the future of their careers.
How long does it take?
This course takes an average of 30-50 hours to complete (including final portfolio assignment), which can be spread out over a few months or condensed and accelerated depending on the learner.

We understand that your schedule can be hectic. That’s why our training is designed to be flexible and available on-demand. The course is delivered virtually in 15-minute pre-recorded units with associated activities and a final portfolio. You can access the course materials anytime, anywhere, allowing you to fit your learning around your commitments. You will also be fully supported every step of the way by our dedicated team who are on hand to help with any questions or challenges that crop up.
Cost
£950 + VAT per learner (£1,140 total), however this can be broken down into payment plans of £190 per month for 6 months. There are also group discounts available for 8 or more learners (which we calculate when we have a firm grasp of numbers).
