Mentoring in Sales – The Mentoring School

Not everyone can train or mentor good sales people.

We recognise that if you are considering being a mentor in sales, then you are highly knowledgeable in the sales field.

However, mentoring less experienced business development professionals is not all about imparting your knowledge. There is an underlying set of principles and theories that require study and practice, just as learning the art of being a great sales person did.

We know about mentoring and we’d like to help you take your career to the next level by developing you to become an accredited mentor in sales.

We are not seeking to teach you sales practices that you are already proficient in. Our focus is on developing the pastoral mentoring required to nurture the mindset of your mentees. We offer two courses:

Practitioner Mentor in Sales

£4950 + VAT

A course covering the basic theory of developing, nurturing and growing mentoring relationships. This course focuses on the pastoral whole-person centred approach that is vital in fostering the mindset and attitude of the less-experienced sales professionals.

These training days are fully immersive and even experienced mentors leave the day with new knowledge. Courses are run as group training sessions, allowing you to discuss the topics being covered with peers.

This course is assessed for certification via an online test, with an optional portfolio to gain a level 3 qualification.

Advanced Mentor in Sales

£7950 + VAT

An 18-month course, including 20 live or recorded online seminars, monthly group tutorials, individual tutorials as required, in addition to self-researched modules, covering an in-depth look at psychometric evaluations, theories and practices that help to ensure your mentees develop the skills they need to close.

The course is assessed through a five-part portfolio.

Mentors are expected to have passed the Practitioner Mentor in Sales course, or equivalent, prior to this course.

£9,900 + VAT (saving £3,000)

What is the sales mentor accreditation?

Candidates passing the online exam at the end of each course will get free accreditation on the public Register of Mentors, provided by the International Mentor Network. This can be renewed with evidence of continued mentoring/professional development in addition to a monthly fee. Mentors can upgrade to a membership level of the Network, which also provides them with post-nominal initials.
