Course Title: Apprentice Mentor Qualification

Level: 3

Suitable for: Those who train, guide and mentor apprentices, whether as a direct line manager, team leader overseeing the placement, or as a wider programme support team member.

Course overview: This training is for those who actively support and develop apprentices as they work through their programme. Learners gain a holistic understanding of best practice to boost engagement, satisfaction and retention of the apprentices they are working with. From identifying existing skills and nurturing emerging talents, to early recognition of potential issues for prompt intervention, mentors play a vital part in providing a positive career foundation through personalised support. Operating from a mental health informed framework, our unique course covers skills in working through overcoming barriers, meeting employer requirements, and imparting practical skills for long-term workplace success.

The course is delivered virtually in 15-minute pre-recorded units with associated activities and a final portfolio, allowing learners to complete modules at their own pace and around their existing commitments. All learners are fully supported by our dedicated team throughout their course if they have any questions/issues.

Duration: estimated 30-50 hours to complete (including final portfolio assignment), which can be spread out across a few months or condensed and accelerated depending on the learner.

Cost: £800 + VAT per learner (£960 total), however this can be broken down into payment plans of £160 per month for 6 months. There are also group discounts available for 8 or more learners (which we calculate when we have a firm grasp of numbers).
