Day 1 Catch up for National Children’s Mentor Qualification
Course contents:
- You and your situation
- What is a Children’s Mentor?
- Barriers to learning and overcoming them
- Learning approaches
- Managing emotions
- Preparation for the next stages of life
The course is delivered in 15 minute pre-recorded units with associated activities to help mentors develop the skills and embed the learning. Support is available by phone or email. Learners are also invited to monthly live support calls with tutors to provide support and answer queries.
