Case Study: Academic Mentor Training for Nottingham Trent University
We were proud to work with Nottingham Trent University to deliver a bespoke SST Training & Mentoring programme. As part of this we ran a training day for academic staff who were planning to become mentors, providing a thorough introduction to the fundamentals of mentoring. Several of the standard modules were adapted to cover specific elements of their overarching programme. This upskilled staff to be able to adapt their approaches and support for Individual Research Plans.

What can be included in a bespoke mentoring training day?
Our training days are modular. You can choose from foundational topics such as active listening and establishing boundaries, or more advanced modules like supporting “Individual Research Plans” (as seen in our work with Nottingham Trent University).
