Who are training days for?
Organisations seeking to train a large cohort of staff at the same time, such as part of a skills refresh or to ensure awareness and understanding of mentoring fundamentals. From delivering mentor training to support newly established mentorship programmes, to helping upskill team leaders with new approaches for staff management and engagement, we create a fully bespoke package for your unique needs.
Constructing Content
We offer your organisation the opportunity to select from a range of content modules in order to build a focussed programme which meets your specific goals. This could include setting goals, establishing mentoring relationships, and structuring mentoring conversations to name a few.
There is also the option to further personalise and adapt these modules to fully reflect the relevant requirements, policies and procedures of your organisation. During the consultation process, you will work with one of our dedicated trainers to carefully craft a programme which best meets your training needs.
Case Example:
We were proud to work with Nottingham Trent University to deliver a bespoke SST Training & Mentoring programme. As part of this we ran a training day for academic staff who were planning to become mentors, providing a thorough introduction to the fundamentals of mentoring. Several of the standard modules were adapted to cover specific elements of their overarching programme, such as adapting approaches whilst working with a mentee on their Individual Research Plan.
