Who is this for?
The Career and Employability Mentor Qualification is designed for managers, team leaders and organisation mentors who are looking to use their career experience to support and develop others.
Research by Wharton found that employee retention was much higher amongst mentoring programme participants, with 72% for mentees and 69% for mentors, compared to 49% amongst uninvolved employees. As such, it is clear that engaging with mentoring can have a profound impact on long-term career paths, as well as improving employability skills.
Course Overview
This training teaches learners to recognise the skills of their mentees, guiding them to identify possible knowledge gaps and how best to address them for career growth. Learners grow their ability to recognise and adapt to mentee learning styles and mindsets for constructive career development planning.
Operating within a mental health led framework, the specialist course covers up to date good practice skills with an emphasis on sustainable progress.
Learn at your own pace
This course takes an average of 30-50 hours to complete (including final portfolio assignment), which can be spread out over a few months or condensed and accelerated depending on the learner.
We understand that your schedule can be hectic. That’s why our training is designed to be flexible and available on-demand. The course is delivered virtually in 15-minute pre-recorded units with associated activities and a final portfolio. You can access the course materials anytime, anywhere, allowing you to fit your learning around your commitments. You will also be fully supported every step of the way by our dedicated team who are on hand to help with any questions or challenges.
Cost
£950 + VAT per learner (£1,140 total), however this can be broken down into payment plans of £190 per month for 6 months. There are also group discounts available for 10 or more learners (which we calculate when we have a firm grasp of numbers).
