The Redhill Trust (https://redhilltrust.org/) have given The Mentoring School funding to cover the cost of the Level 3 Preschool Mentor Qualification for a limited number of preschools, nurseries and early years settings in the South East of England to improve social and emotional skills in children.
The Level 3 Preschool Mentor Qualification is delivered online in 24 x 15-minute lessons and covers topics, such as what mentoring is in an early years setting, how to assess social and emotional skills, planning support for children, involving other people in supporting children, social and emotional development and much more. The course normally costs £960 including VAT, but is fully funded for a limited number of settings.
Eligibility Criteria
- Your employer MUST support your application
- They must be prepared to complete an impact statement at the end of the course
- You must work in an Early Years setting (provides education for aged 4 and under)
- You must be based in the South East of England (Hampshire and eastwards)
